Do I need a specific license to rent a Scooter?
A valid standard Driver’s License is required for all rentals. For our 50cc models, a regular car license is usually sufficient. However, for more powerful models (150cc and above), a motorcycle endorsement may be required.
Are helmets and safety gear included in the price?
Yes! Your safety is our top priority. Every rental from Portland Scooter Rental includes a high-quality, sanitized helmet and a heavy-duty security lock at no additional cost.
Can I reserve a specific model in advance?
Absolutely. We highly recommend using our online reservation system to secure your favorite “Classic” or “Contemporary” model, especially during the busy summer months and weekends.
What is your policy on fuel?
We provide every Scooter with a full tank of premium fuel. We simply ask that you return it full so the next adventurer is ready to go!
Do you offer any roadside assistance?
Yes, we provide 24/7 roadside support. Whether you have a flat tire or a mechanical question, our team is just a phone call away to ensure your Portland adventure stays on track.
Is there a minimum age requirement for rentals?
Yes, all riders must be at least 18 years of age (or 21 depending on the specific model) and possess a valid ID and credit card for the security deposit.
